About Gateway

 

In today's hectic life, studying for a test, writing a research paper or sometimes just a lot of homework can overwhelm even the most patient parent. Gateway begins with a diagnostic assessment followed by a goal setting session that maps out the most rapid method of academic improvement. Our instructors encourage, motivate and inspire children to develop a vision for their future. Your child’s success is our highest priority.

Gateway has been providing educational programs for more than 30 years to people of all ages and in all subjects with a personable and qualified staff. We offer a variety of programs, including private schooling, after-school tutoring, homeschooling, summer school, and more. Gateway was approved by the Illinois State Board of Education in 2004 under the Federal NCLB.

Gateway's Social Emotional Skills (SEL) program guides students in managing their family, school, and other social relationships by providing students with skills in recognizing triggers along with the conflict resolution skills necessary to improve their behavior.

 

Gateway's SEL program is implemented as an individual subject for students needing intensive instruction, or it may be integrated into its educational programs.

Gateway also offers families in need with a waiver or reduction of registration or service fees based on an individual’s ability to pay.
